Set Interaction field for the Update Interaction module (Edify Console)

This article explains how to set the Interaction field for a phone call session and a messaging session when configuring the Update Interaction module in Workflows in Edify Console.

You can use the module to:

  • Set phone session Interaction field data

  • Set messaging session Interaction field data

Set phone session Interaction field data

1. Double click the Update Interaction module needing phone details modified.

2. Navigate to the Phone section of the configurations.

3. Open the Interaction Field menu.

4. Select the appropriate data field option.

5. Open the Type menu.

6. Select the appropriate data type option.

7. If you selected anything other than 'Linked IDs' from the Type menu, open the Value menu.

8. Select the appropriate data value option.

  1. If you selected ‘Linked IDs’ from the Type menu, open the Database menu and select the applicable database/CRM.

  2. Open the Object menu.

  3. Select the applicable object option.

9. Optional: add another line item of criteria to update.

    1. Click the +Add button to add the line item.

    2. Repeat steps 3-9 as necessary.

10. Optional: Remove a line item of criteria to update

  1. Click the delete button.

  2. Notice a yellow alert populates in place of the delete button.

  3. Click the yellow alert to confirm the deletion.

  4. Repeat step 10 as necessary.

11. Click the Save button.

Set messaging session Interaction field

1. Double click the Update Interaction module needing phone details modified.

2. Navigate to the Messaging section of the configurations.

3. Open the Interaction Field menu.

4. Select the appropriate data field option.

5. Open the Type menu.

6. Select the appropriate data type option.

7. If you selected anything other than 'Linked IDs' from the Type menu, open the Value menu.

8. Select the appropriate data value option.

  1. If you selected ‘Linked IDs’ from the Type menu, open the Database menu and select the applicable database/CRM.

  2. Open the Object menu.

  3. Select the applicable object option.

9. Optional: add another line item of criteria to update.

  1. Click the +Add button to add the line item.

  2. Repeat steps 3-9 as necessary.

10. Optional: remove a line item of criteria to update.

  1. Click the delete button.
