Overview
The SMS Deliverability Lookup by Phone Number report is a standard report available on your account that shows all the outbound SMS messages sent from a specific phone number for the last 30 days.
Use this report to see more granular messaging information about a specific telephone number, like delivery status, the message body sent with the SMS, etc. This report can be cross referenced with the SMS Delivery % Last 30 Days standard report to better understand the overall delivery health of outbound SMS sent from this phone number.
Since this is a standard report, you can’t directly edit it. However, if this report doesn’t have all the information that you need, like you want to see more SMS messages that are older than 30 days, add more columns to the report, etc. then duplicate the report and then customize the newly duplicated report as you need.
This report is located in the Edify Standard Reports folder in Analytics.
The SMS Deliverability Lookup by Phone Number standard report is where you can see details about each outbound message from a specific number.
Understanding this report
When viewing the report, you’ll quickly be able to see information about individual outbound SMS messages sent from a specific phone number.
More specifically, this report shows you:
Which phone number sent the SMS (i.e. the phone number on your account that sent the SMS)
Delivery status, like whether it was delivered, sent, failed, etc.
Where the outbound SMS was sent (i.e. recipients phone number)
What was the message for the SMS (i.e. message body for SMS/MMS)
Since this report shows all the outbound SMS messages for a specific phone number for the last 30 days, reference the SMS Delivery % Last 30 Days standard report to review the high-level delivery failure percentage for this phone number, which is how you’ll better understand the overall deliverability health for this phone number.
