Add or remove channel members in Chat (Edify App)

This article explains how to add or remove channel members in Chat in Edify App.

Note: At this time, you can only add or remove channel members from private channels.

In this article

Add users

1. Select the private channel to modify.

2. Click the channel settings button.

3. Click into the Add User field.

4. Type the user's name to filter results or scroll through the user drop down menu.

5. Click the user's name to add the user to the channel.

6. Notice the user has been added to the member list

7. Click the Close Channel Settings icon.

Remove users

1. Select the private channel to modify.

2. Click the channel settings button.

3. Click the X icon next to the user(s) you need to remove from the channel.

4. Notice the alert that Edify prompts on the screen.

5. Click Remove.

6. Repeat for all users needing to be removed from the channel.
