Archive a channel in Chat (Edify App)

This article explains how to archive a channel in Chat in Edify App.

Note: Archiving a channel (whether public, private, or a direct message) archives it for everyone. We recommend that you exercise caution when archiving chat channels

Steps

1. Select the channel to archive.

2. Click the channel settings button.

3. Click Archive at the bottom of the channel settings menu.

4. Notice the warning alert that populates from Edify App.

5. Click Archive.

6. Notice the channel disappeared from the channels list.
