Invite people to a Sync (Edify App)
This article explains how to invite people to a Sync.
Step 1: Copy the meeting link
Open your personal direct message channel in Chat to host the Sync.
You can Sync in any channel or direct message, but we recommend using your personal direct message for Syncs with Edify users and guests.
2. Hover over the Sync button (camera icon).
3. Click Copy Link.
Step 2: Share the link
Now that you’ve copied the link, it’s time to distribute it to the participants. For this example we’re using Google calendar, but you can use whatever communication method you prefer.
Create a meeting on Google Calendar.
Paste the Sync link in the description textbox.
Edify users and guests alike can join the Sync by clicking the link.
Guest view
This is the view that guests see after clicking the link. They must enter their Name and Email in the text fields to join the Sync.
Edify user's view
This is the view that Edify users see after clicking the link. They don’t have to input any information to join a Sync.
