Pin a participant on Sync (Edify App)

This article explains how to pin a participant on Sync.

Pinning a participant on Sync sets the participant as the presenter on your screen. The presenter will have a large video feed that takes up most of the screen while all other participants will be displayed in small thumbnails below or beside the presenter. The participant you pin won’t be able to tell that you have them pinned.

Pinning a participant overrides presenter view and screen sharing view. This means that if a participant is talking or screen sharing they will still appear in a thumbnail rather than in the presenter view.

Pin a participant

1. Select the View Members icon.

2. Click the tri-dot icon next to the name of the participant you want to pin.

3. Select Pin.

• A thumbtack icon will appear next to the participants name in the View Members panel and next to the participant's name in their thumbnail.

Unpin a participant

1. Select the View Members icon.

2. Click the tri-dot icon next to the name of the participant you want to unpin.

3. Select Unpin.

• The thumbtack will disappear indicating the participant is no longer pinned.
