Overview: Receptionist Tab (App)

This article explains how to use the Receptionist Tab in App.

Overview

The Receptionist Tab shows a list of all possible recipients of a transfer in the Large Tabs workspace. This makes it easier to find who you want to transfer an interaction to.

Ther Receptionist Tab toggle enables or disables the Receptionist Tab. To find this toggle, open Console, then navigate to Queues > [Queue] > Tabs container. See Overview: Tabs container in Queues (Console).

Steps

1. Click Transfer while on an active interaction.

2. Select a recipient category. The following options are available:

• Users

• Queues

• Contacts

The Receptionist Tab will populate the large tabs workspace.

3. Select the destination of the transfer from the Receptionist Tab.

4. Complete the transfer as you normally would.
