Send a text from a web chat interaction (Edify App)

This article explains how to send a text to a customer from a web chat interaction.

Steps

1. Enter the customer’s phone number into the Phone field.

• Once you update the phone number, messages will be sent through text by default.

2. Type your message into the messaging text box.

3. Press Enter / Return, or click the phone icon to text the customer.

Note: You can toggle between text and messaging by clicking the ^ next to the phone icon.
