Create a chat with a coworker from the softphone directory (Edify App)

This article explains how to create a chat with a coworker from the softphone directory in Edify App.

Steps

1. Click the softphone icon to open the workspace.

2. Click the Address Book button to reveal a list of contacts in a directory style format.

3. Search or scroll to the user you want to chat with.

4. Click the UC chat icon located in the user's contact option.

5. The chat workspace opens and the direct message populates in the channel menu.

6. Proceed with messaging.
