Add a Zendesk integration (Edify Console)

This article explains how to add an integration to a Zendesk account in Edify Console.

Steps

1. Log into Edify Console at console.edify.cx.

2. Navigate to Account > Integrations.

3. Click the New Zendesk Integration button in the top-right corner of the screen.

4. Fill out the following pieces of information on the form:

a. Type (Production or Sandbox)

i. A production connection is intended for real-world user.

ii. A sandbox connection is intended for testing.

b. Username (your Zendesk username)

c. API token (associated with your Zendesk account. This is provided by Zendesk. See this article for more information on generating a token in Zendesk: Generating a new API token

d. Instance URL (the URL of your organization’s Zendesk account. It matches the following pattern: your_organization.zendesk.com

5. Click the Save button in the top-right corner of the screen to save your changes or the Cancel button to cancel.
