Enable or disable user custom status permission (Console)
This article explains how to enable or disable the user’s permission to be able to set a custom reason, which is the message portion of user status in Console.
Steps
1. Log into Console at console.avaya.cx.
2. Navigate to Account > Users.
3. Click on the user whose custom status permission you want to enable or disable.
4. Scroll down to the Status container.
5. Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the Status container.
6. Click the Custom Reason toggle to enable or disable the user’s ability to make a custom status.
Green is enabled.
Red is disabled.
7. Click the Save button in the bottom-right corner of the container to save your changes or the x button in the top-right corner to cancel.
