This article provides an overview of the dashboard list workspace, which is the initial view when you initially access the Dashboard workspace in App.

Overview
The Dashboards list workspace is where you view the dashboards and folders built on your account. This is the initial view when opening the Dashboards workspace.
From the list workspace, you have two main actions you can complete. You can:
View a dashboard: From the list workspace you can open a dashboard to view it in the Dashboards view workspace.
Create a new dashboard: From the list workspace you can create a new dashboard and the system will direct you to the Dashboards editor workspace.

Use the labeled graphic and descriptions below to get a better understanding of each of these workspaces in App.
Sort (A): The sort button (small arrow icon) is located at the top of the list workspace next to the column headers. You can click on the sort button to sort the list by either Name, Data Source, Created By, Created On, Updated By, or Updated On to easily locate the dashboard or folder you’re looking for. Depending on the column you sort, the list will filter alphabetically/reverse alphabetically or newest to oldest/oldest to newest.
Create new folder (B): The create new folder button (folder with plus sign icon) is located in the top right corner of the list workspace. You can click this button to create a new folder to organize your dashboards by department, team, etc.
Create new dashboard (C): The New Dashboard button (paper with plus sign icon) is located in the top right corner of the list workspace. You can click this button to start the process for creating a new, empty dashboard. Read the Overview: Create new Dashboard workspace article to learn more.
Folders (D): Folders (folder icon) hold one or more dashboards to organize like dashboards together. You can click on a folder to open it to look over and access the dashboards located inside it.
