Change feed translation language
This article explains how to change the language used in the feed to a different language in Edify App.
Change the language used in the feed if you’re monitoring an interaction that is being conversed in a language different from your preferred reading language.
Consider changing the language used in the feed if you’re monitoring an interaction that is being conversed in a language different from your preferred reading language.
For example, you might be monitoring a phone call that is being transcribed and translated into Spanish, but your primary language is English. So, in this scenario, as the coach of the interaction, you could update the language posted to the feed to English. This means that the phone call is happening in Spanish between the agent and the customer, but you’re reading the transcription of the conversation in English. This is just one example of how you might use this feature of Edify App.
Note: This process requires that you have a message translation created and connected to the queue hosting the interaction.
1. Once you’re viewing an interaction, click the language selection menu in the top-left corner of the feed tab.
2. Select the language you want to view the feed in.
3. The messages will be translated to your selected language.
