Prepare Google Chrome to manage calls

This article explains how to prepare Google Chrome to manage calls in App.
Overview
You must enable the microphone and sound settings in Google Chrome to successfully use the Softphone in App. Once you have enabled these settings in Google Chrome, you can test your microphone and speaker functionality through the system to ensure it is working properly.
Once you complete this process, you don’t need to configure these settings again.
Enable microphone in Google Chrome
1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx through Google Chrome.
2. Click the padlock icon to the left of the URL.
3. Click the toggle next to Microphone.
The toggle will appear blue when enabled.
4. Click the padlock icon to close the menu.
5. Click Reload to apply the updated settings.
Enable sound in Google Chrome
1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx in Google Chrome.
2. Click the padlock icon to the left of the URL.
3. Click the toggle next to Sound.
The toggle will appear blue when enabled.
4. Click the padlock icon to close the menu.
5. Click Reload to apply the updated settings.
The system can now play sounds through your speakers.
Test audio for your softphone
1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx in Google Chrome.
2. Click the phone icon to open the softphone.
3. Dial '91' and click the small phone icon to call.
4. Verbally respond to the prompts.
5. Listen for your responses to be replayed.
Test audio for your desk phone
Log into App at app.avaya.cx in Google Chrome.
Pick up your headset or desk phone handset.
Dial ‘91’ on your desk phone.
Verbally respond to the prompts.
Listen for your responses to be replayed.
