Create an additional call with an open softphone line (Edify App)

This article explains how to use an open line to create another call from the softphone in Edify App.

Steps

1. While on an active softphone call, navigate to the line key menu.

2. Click the open line key button you want to host the new call.

3. Edify directs you to call workspace for the new line and turns the other line key a flashing red. Clicking the open line key button automatically places the original caller on hold and plays hold music for them.

4. Create the additional phone call on the new line by either selecting who you want to call from the softphone directory or by manually dialing the recipient.
