Overview

There are several configurable settings for ring groups. For an explanation of each setting available on a ring group, see: Overview: Ring Groups (Edify Console).

Follow this process when you want to perform any of the following tasks on a ring group:

  • Modify the name of a ring group

  • Modify the extension of a ring group

  • Modify the caller ID override of a ring group

  • Modify the ring group’s timeout and/or timeout routing

  • Enable or disable the ring group

Steps

1. Log into Edify Console at console.edify.cx.

2. Navigate to Account > Ring Groups.

3. Select the ring group you want to configure.

4. Navigate to the Ring Group Settings container and click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the container.

5. Modify any of the settings in the container to your desired configuration. To enable or disable the ring group, toggle the Status field.

6. Click the Save button to save your changes.
