Upload music files for wait and hold music (Console)

This article explains how to upload music files for wait and hold music in Console.

Before you can set wait music or hold music for a specific queue, you’ll first need to upload that file to Console to make it available in the Audio Upload list. Once the file is uploaded, it’s then ready to be set as a music file to play for either wait music or hold music for a specific queue.

Once you’ve followed the steps in that article to upload a file, return this article to learn how to set wait and hold music for a queue.

Part 2: Set the audio file as wait or hold music

1. Once you’ve uploaded the file that you want to play, you’re ready to set that music as wait or hold music and proceed with the next step in the process.

2. Select Queues > Queues.

3. Select the queue you want to change the hold or wait music for.

4. Navigate to the Music container and click the pencil icon.

5. Open the dropdown menu for Wait Music or Hold Music.

6. Search or scroll to find the music file you added and select it.

7. Click Save.

Note: The max file size is 50MB.
