Data source: Users (Edify App)

The Users data source is a collection of tables you can use to build user reports in Edify App. 

Overview

The Users data source is one of several data sources available for creating reports in Edify App. To learn more about data sources in general, please see: Overview: Data sources for reports (Edify App).

With the Users data source, you can create reports that show you all of the users on your organization’s Edify account.

You can use this data source to retrieve information like: 

• How many users are on the account?

• Which users are queue users?

• What are the titles of the users?

• Who do the users report to?

This article provides common use cases for creating reports with the data source and a list of the available tables when working with this data source.

Use case

The most common use case for the Users data source is creating a users report.

A users report shows you all of the users on your account. You could use this report along with a filter to show specific teams in your organization based on who your users report to. These reports are also helpful when you want to look up specific user information, like extensions, email address in Edify, titles, and more.

You could also use a users report to show you a list of all the users on your account so that you have a single view of all the people in your organization that are using Edify.

These are just a few examples for why you might select this data source when building a report to see data about the users on your account.
