Invite people during a Sync (Edify App)
This article explains how to invite Edify users and external users to a Sync during the meeting.
Invite Edify users
While on a Sync, select the View Members icon.
2. Type the name of the user you would like to add into the directory.
3. Select the Sync button (camera icon) next to the user's name.
The Sync button will turn blue once selected.
4. Click invite (paper airplane icon) to initiate the invitation to the user.
A System message stating “[User1] invited [User2] to Sync” will appear in the feed of the chat or direct message where the Sync was started.
The invitation to Sync is sent through the softphone. The recipient of the invitation can join the Sync by clicking on the green video icon, or they can reject the invitation by clicking the red phone icon.
Invite external users
While on a Sync, click the Conference Info button (green shield icon).
2. Click Copy Link.
3. Send the link to the external user(s) you want to add.
Note: The Sync code will automatically populate in the Sync Code field so the external user only has to add their name and a valid email address to join the Sync.
