Manage audio settings on Sync (Edify App)
This article explains how to manage audio settings on Sync.
While on Sync, use audio settings to configure microphone and speaker settings.
Open audio settings
From a Sync, click the ^ next to the mute/unmute audio icon
You can also view some of these settings by selecting Audio Settings....
Settings breakdown
Microphone
View which microphone Sync is using or change the microphone by selecting another option from the list.
Same as System - Same as System indicates that Sync is using the microphone on the device you are using. This is the default setting.
Speaker
View which speaker Sync is currently using or change the speaker by selecting another option from the list.
Same as System - Same as System indicates that Sync is using the speaker on the device you are using. This is the default setting.
Audio Settings
Selecting Audio Settings opens a modal where you can adjust microphone and speaker settings, check the input level of your microphone, and test the speaker.
Microphone
Input Level - Speak into the microphone to see how loud you are. Green bars illuminate to indicate how loud the input is and how sensitive the microphone is.
Microphone dropdown menu - View which microphone Sync is using or change the microphone by selecting another available option.
Speaker
Test Speaker - Click Test Speaker to play audio that indicates the volume of your speaker. This will give you an idea of how loud participants on Sync will be. Adjust your volume to the desired level.
